1. What We Collect

When you use JobRadar, we collect:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and profile picture from Google Sign-In.
  • Resume content — the text extracted from any PDF you upload, used solely to match you to jobs.
  • LinkedIn profile data — your name, headline, and email if you choose to connect LinkedIn.
  • Job match history — the results of your scans (job titles, companies, scores) so you can review them later.
  • Usage data — when you run scans and basic interaction logs for debugging.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to provide the JobRadar service:

  • Your resume text is sent to the Anthropic Claude API to extract your skills and score job matches. It is not stored by Anthropic beyond the API call.
  • We never sell your data to third parties.
  • We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

JobRadar integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth — for sign-in. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • LinkedIn OAuth — optional profile enrichment. Governed by LinkedIn's Privacy Policy.
  • Anthropic Claude API — for AI-powered resume parsing and job scoring.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in a secure database hosted on Railway. We retain your account data, resume content, and job match history for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Disconnect LinkedIn or remove your resume at any time from Settings.
